As a part of the Proactive Fund team at Ventureast, Saras works closely with the team to source, evaluate and execute investment opportunities. He is also involved in monitoring and value adding to the portfolio companies in the infrastructure services, consumer services and consumer loyalty management sectors. Saras brings with him rich experience in deal evaluations, structuring and valuations through his previous experience at DE Shaw & Co. where he was involved with the Private Equity and Long Short Practice. Saras also has operational experience in building and managing a business for one of the prominent export houses in India. Saras earned an MBA from ICFAI Business School, Hyderabad and a Bachelor's in Commerce from Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi.
