Founder at Buyhatke, (buyhatke.com) a shopping research portal to deliver the ultimate shopping experience to consumers. A dual degree graduate from IIT Kgp, Gaurav started working with a firm named ITC as an assistant manager and then quit on an independence day of 15th august 2013 within 45 days of starting to work there to change how consumers make their shopping decision. Currently Buyhatke drives over 10 million user sessions a month and over 40 million USD for sales to partner sites. It has had amazing global firsts to its name with their unique chrome extension and the assistant app.

Have previously worked as the team lead at Cleanoventions – a clean-tech venture focused on developing breakthrough clean energy innovations. I was instrumental in putting together a rock solid founding team the product conceptualization, and raising funds for prototype and intellectual property rights development.
Earlier involved in an NGO GYWS. The work involved analyzing socio economic predicaments for populace around Kharagpur and devising self-sustainable solutions.

Gaurav is one of the 100 Innovators chosen from all over the world to be a part of the Moscow International Forum for Innovative Development in 2012. The 100 Innovators Club is a group of individuals who are developing breakthrough innovations globally.

Gaurav has built a model for a Social Enterprise to help solve the problem of food insecurity in urban slums. And his team was among the youngest teams and only team from India to be selected to for the finals of HULT prize at the Hult International Business School, San Francisco.
Hult Prize is a start-up accelerator for Social Entrepreneurship focusing on devising sustainable Social enterprise solutions to UN MDG , organised by Hult International Business School in association with President Bill Clinton, The Clinton Global Initiative, Innovation, Excellence and Leadership Center and Muhammad Yunus.
